I’ve been a dance student for 35 years and a dance teacher for 22 of those years.
My studio is about family, and my personal mission statement is “I do the best with whatever God gives me.”
Currently a member of Dance Educators of America, I also continue my education at events such as Tremaine, LADF, the Edge, NYCDA, and Hoctor’s Dance Caravan, among others. My training continues through conventions and workshops every year.
In addition to Julie’s Competitive Edge Dance Academy, I am co-director of SpoDance. SpoDance is a northwest convention where we bring in top name instructors from all around the country to extend the dance education of the Washington Area Students above and beyond their local options.
